PDF to Word: Convert PDFs Into Editable Documents

PDFs are built to be read, not edited — which is exactly what you want until someone sends you a contract to revise, a form to update, or a report whose source file is long gone. Then you need the reverse direction: PDF back to Word.

This is the hardest conversion in the document world. A PDF stores positioned glyphs, not paragraphs — a converter has to reconstruct the structure: which lines form a paragraph, where the tables are, what's a header versus body text. Cheap converters give you a soup of text boxes; good ones give you a document you can actually edit.

• Tables: preserved as real Word tables you can edit, not screenshots.
• Scanned PDFs: these are photos of paper — run OCR first to recognise the text, then convert.
• Heavily designed layouts (magazines, brochures): expect to tidy up; no converter perfectly reverse-engineers complex design.

Privacy

Files are deleted from the server on download and auto-purged after a short window regardless. Nothing is retained or reused.
